Lightning Bolt is a noise rock duo from USA consisting of bassist Brian Gibson and drummer Brian Chippendale. The new album, Earthly Delights, embarks on a musical journey that will take you to places both divine and sublime. Through their countless releases, plus their must see tour documentary The Power of Salad, and a DIY touring ethic which has seen them perform in places such as parking lots, kitchens and sidewalks- the duo have created a legendary world of their own. Commonly known as guerrilla gigs, the Brian's have gained a world wide cult following and are renowned for performing on the floor with the crowd gathered around them. Total chaos in true punk rock fashion. Lightning Bolt aside, Chippendale drummed on Bjork's 2007 release Volta and is also a well established graphic designer and comic artist.

The Hazards of Love tells the tale of a woman named Margaret who is ravaged by a shape-shifting animal; her lover, William; a forest queen; and a cold-blooded, lascivious rake, who recounts with spine-tingling ease how he came "to be living so easy and free" in "The Rake's Song".
