With their first album in over five years OLIVER ALARY's ENSEMBLE return with a beautifully orchestrated LP. Including the single 'Disown, Delete' featuring CHAN MARSHALL (CAT POWER), plus appearances from the likes of LOU BARLOW (SEBADOH / DINOSAUR JNR), MILEECE and ADAM PIERCE (MICE PARADE / MUM). Inspired by the likes of PHIL SPECTOR and PHAROAH SANDERS amongst others, 'Ensemble' recalls 'Loveless' era of MY BLOODY VALENTINE, purveying an organic integration of electronic and acoustic elements, immense walls of sound, and highlighting a physicality and sonic detail sounding like little else around right now. Ensemble's real strength nevertheless lies in the fact that their records add up to being much more than just a sum of their parts. All the tracks here work towards a cohesive whole - lush, atmospheric and lovingly detailed,and all but one are exclusive to this release.
