In the mid-80s, Tex Perkins alongside Lachlan McLeod & Peter Read (Salamander Jim/Lubricated Goat et al) released some mind-boggling material under the Thug moniker. From industrial noise to electronic meanderings and live shows that frequently included vacuum cleaners, power tools and loss of blood, Thug delighted ..... well, very few people indeed! Or as Tex puts it: "In the 80s the underground scene was pretty rife and bands of that time catered for 98 per cent of the people ... we catered to the other two per cent." This collection features most of the material from their three releases plus rare, unreleased and almost forgotten tracks ... and is, of course, essential listening. If you dare.
