LAUGHING OUTLAW presents the remarkable debut album from Sydney singer/songwriter GEORGE BYRNE, 'Foreign Water'. Produced by the very in demand JONATHAN BURNSIDE (THE SLEEPY JACKSON) and TIM POWLES (THE CHURCH) and features guest appearances from HOLLY THROSBY and LIOR. 'Foreign Water' follows on from 2004's 'Iron Skies' EP, featuring the radio favourites "Goldmine". "Paralysed" and current single "Foreign Water" (all three tracks are featured on this album). His warm, intimate & rootsy songs have been drawing comparisons to RYAN ADAMS and 'Seachange' era BECK, while his vocal style recalls a younger DAVID GILMOUR.
