Andrew Kidman is a legendary surfing filmmaker behind classic films such as Litmus and Glass Love. His band the WIndy Hills, provide the soundtrack for his films. The Windy Hills most recent album "Friend From Another Star" has only ever been available digitally until now. To celebrate, the latest album has been packaged with the Windy Hills other most recentalbum, the soundtrack to the film "Searching For Michael Peterson". The soundtrack pays tribute to the golden era of independent Australian surf rock - the Sunnyboys, Radio Birdman, Midnight Oil, the Saints. Further, it reflects the drama of Peterson's extraordinary life in a broad range of moods and tones. Features radio single 'Iron Eagle' about the iconic statue on the hill at Kirra and the golden era of Gold Coast surfing and music. Tim Gaze features heavily on the soundtrack as well. He began his career in Tamam Shud, legendary Australian '70s psychrock outfit who contributed to Morning Of The Earth, and went on to become one of Australia's most revered guitarists. Back to "friends of another star".
