Indie popsters Spargo have quietly built a reputation as a captivating live band. Originally from Melbourne, Spargo have spent much of the past year on the road, playing to critical acclaim across Australia and Europe. 'Friends in the Army' is Spargo's debut release. Produced by Jonathan Burnside (Grinspoon, Faith No More) and mastered in London by Dennis Smith, the disc includes the cutting, political title track and the optimistic 'Sunday Morning'.
