For the last six years, 23-year-old TY SEGALL has made a name for himself cranking out the kind of rowdy ear-splitting, lo-fi garage punk rock that makes the White Stripes sound like something you'd buy for Grandma. The prolific wunderkind has already made nine albums including four solo albums since 2008, as well as recordings with former band The Epsisons and tour mates Thee Oh Sees. 'GOODBYE BREAD' is the follow up to 2010?s much-hyped 'Melted'. Yes, it's a LOT mellower and more psychedelic pop than past chest-hair-frying expeditions, but it's still reliably weird, reverb drenched and catchy as hell with a dark, sarcastic twist to it.
