Guy Blackman: renaissance man. Guy spent 18 months in Japan just a couple of years back and this CD documents that stay, with 8 tracks recorded both in the studio and live, featuring members of Japanese indie bands like Maher Shala Hash Baz, Tenniscoats, My Pal Foot Foot, etc. Not a simple vanity release by any stretch, the lonesome ache 'n' strum present captures a unique local artist with a mountain of talent.
