If you haven't heard of The Warlocks you've been sleeping! They've been knocking out some of the finest Neo-Psychedelia of the last 8 years since the band was conceived by front-man BOBBY HECKSHER (BECK, BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE). Now the band returns with a slimmed down & tighter line-up (sextet) and release their 4th album 'Heavy Deavy Skull Lover' Described as a collision between classic psychedelia, krautrock & THE VELVET UNDERGROUND, the band's debut album 'Rise & Fall' was released on BOMP RECORDS in 2000 (a contract that was signed in Bobby's own blood!!), a worldwide deal with MUTE (in conjunction with CITY ROCKERS in the UK and with BIRDMAN in the US) led to the release of 'Phoenix' in 2003 and was then followed by 'Surgery' in 2005. Recently signing to the well respected + perfectly suited TEE PEE RECORDS (BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE, WITCH etc) a label re-nowned for giving their artists complete creative control.
