Bombazine Black is the new project for Matt Davis, founding member of Australian indie-rock band GERSEY. The album was predominantly recorded and mixed at Les Recollets in Paris, France from July to September 2007. Apart from Matt's signature guitar playing the album features guest performances from Toby Martin (Youth Group), Miles Browne (Art of Fighting), Martin Cooke (Gaslight Radio), Daryl Bradie (Gersey), Danny Tulen (Gersey), Patrick Ryan (Greater Northern), the late Richard Burton and Dylan Thomas, not to mention the evocative soundscapes of Matt's neighbourhood in Paris, France. The digipak artwork features original drawings and paintings by English artist Richard Dinnis.
