![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The High End Of Low - Marilyn Manson Byron Peszko on 01.06.2011 A return to form best sums up Marilyn Manson's a.k.a Brian Hugh Warner's newly released album "The High End Of Low" . After a lacklustre effort with his 07 release of "Eat Me, Drink Me". he has slowly diminished to fiecer competition within in the music industry. With the return of bassist Twiggy Ramirez, this album has high thumping bass, crazy disorted guitar riffs & sounds never really associated on a Marilyn Manson album before. Manson's alienated voice with elements from his '98 "Mechanical Animals" album are obvious in his album throughout & so too are his usual lyrical content, both amusing & serious. Songs rage from Devour, a heartbroken song with soft guitars, to Blank & White, a hell-broken, crazy song about censoring & beeping in the music industry, to a acoustic ballad of Running To The Edge Of The World. This album is fantastic to any Marilyn Manson & new fans alike & really shows his return to music after a broken divorce, lacklustre previous albums. |
