'Homies & Homos' is RITON's second album and the follow-up to the massively acclaimed cult classic 'Beats Du Jour'. High attitude, bad ass stuff from Riton, who's clearly going thru a Darkness, Iggy, Aphex, Bowie (circa Ziggy), Timbaland and Prince phase.The whole thrust of the album is steamy work with ramped up R&B touches, stompy indie beats, plump synth lines, glam rock riffs and backing vocals culled from the background of a porno. Standouts are the (too) brief total assault (BASEMENT JAXX on speed) opener, a campelectro cove of THE CURE's "Killing An Arab" & more PEACHES than Peaches' "Candy"!
