PIP BRANSON CORPORATION is the new musical creation of one time SIDEWINDER guitarist Pip Branson. Having more recently been a special-guest player and recording artist with a diverse range of Australian acts, including SOMETHING FOR KATE and MIKELANGELO AND THE BLACK SEA GENTLEMEN, Branson now unleashes his first solo release: the 'Hot Dollar' EP. Pip Branson Corporation take their palate from a broad range of new-wave-touched rock sounds, that may evoke the meeting of, T REX and DEVO, ROXY MUSIC and FUGAZI, TOM VEK and MIDNIGHT OIL or THE CARS and DATAROCK.

$24.99 (AUD) Strange Boys' third album 'Live Music' (as in, living the music), the follow-up to 'The Strange Boys' and Girls' Club (2009) and 'Be Brave' (2010). Half of 'Live Music' was recorded in April 2011 at the Austin home of producer/Spoon drummer Jim Eno. The second half was recorded in December 2010 at producer Mike McHugh's Distillery, the same studio that 'Be Brave' was recorded in. The Strange Boys are an American rock 'n' roll band based in Austin, Texas, who offering up a garage rock, punk and old school R&B tinged slobbering feast of sounds. The core of the band features brothers Ryan Sambol (vocals, guitar, harmonica, piano) and Phillip Sambol (bass), Greg Enlow (guitar) and Mike La Franchi (drums).
