Hayden rose from the lakes of Ontario in the late 90s and was immediately hailed the new Beck. While his music is much more akin to Ontario's other favourite son (Neil Young), he has been known to cut and paste like Mr Hansen. 'In Field & Town' is Hayden's first new album in 4 years. The extra writing time has resulted in not only 11 top quality songs but a production quality that perfectly matches his deep infectious voice and toe tapping folk tunes. Hayden toured Australia in late 2004 with Holly Throsby. A friendship resulted and Holly sings on the track 'Weight Of The World'. The first single 'Where And When' has a stunning video clip filmed in Prague while on tour with The National.
