JENNY HOYSTON is a core member of San Francisco's angular rockers ERASE ERRATA. All sides of Jenny are evident on her fi rst release under her own name. She started writing songs with just dirty guitar sounds and drum machine and this helped her to discover new outlets and directions for her songs. She was able to not only concentrate on her electronic side but also full-band arrangements. The album includes songs that could be JOAN JETT, contemporary electro, a la LE TIGRE or TRACY & THE PLASTICS or new American folk. Much like her tunes, Jenny can't be easily pigeonholed. She's an great songwriter, capable of frank emotion and playfulness. Her tuneful sensibility shines through whether it's experimental bedroom pop, or full-on (punk) rock.
