Having got that pesky misery-guts woe is me solo album out of his system (and it was a real beauty too!), Nikola is ready to get back into the day job of yelling with the boys.
Or so you'd think.
Starting the album off with a song that is a suicide note doesn't offer up hope of a great rock party album I would think.
Unlike most in "the game" (loud punk skater rock for 15 year old hormonal boys), Millencolin aren't afraid to do 2 things which, in effect, should have them on the sidelines with other great could-have-beens like Propaghandi, and they are: sing songs from the heart, and amp up the guitars to make big anthemic FM rock songs (sell-outs!!!). And in some strange twist of fate, these seem to be the 2 reasons that Millencolin have survived (at least Blink 182 and Green Day took notice before they turned into REAL clowns...).
"I'm just amazed cause when I look around
There are only rich blonde kids at the near playground"
And to think I assumed that Nikola had exhausted his "our relationship sucks" songs on the solo album - alas, he must have hundreds of them lying around...
