JOYCE HOTEL's 'Limits' is a fantastic rock album that will remind you of INTERPOL's greatest moments, JOY DIVISION's aesthetics and the vocal delivery of DIVINE COMEDY. The album is recorded by BO KARLSSON and produced by KRISTIAN FUNDER. The songs are all written by vocalist/guitarist/organist Funder and are fantastically worked in the studio which makes way for a more homogenic feel. An open and layered sound is apparent, as is each bandmember's mastery of their instruments. The band have also been experimenting with psycho acoustics and various recording techniques to give every song its organic identity. 'Limits' contains tender piano loopholes, dreamy soundscapes, jawbreaking minimalism, heartstopping rhythms and horrific carnage for the dancefloor.

The release featured acoustic arrangements of Lagwagon and NUFAN hits as well as a couple originals, and proved to be wildly popular with fans of their bands. | $19.99 (AUD) |
