Hailing from Macclesfield (near Manchester), the Macc Lads existed between 1981 and 1994, pefecting the art of bawdy, punk-rock-pub singalongs. They are perhaps best described as the musical equivilent of the raunchy VIZ comics. Albums 3 and 4 from the Macc Lads get the Anagram re-issue treatment here. the CD including 6 bonus ultra-rare tracks from the "Drinking Partners" cassette EP. The booklet comes complete with original LP artwork and (hilarious) notes to each track by band manager Slimy Git.
WEST RYDER PAUPER LUNATIC ASYLUM, THE $23.99 (AUD) Kasabian are a wake-up call to music. They have attitude, they have energy and and they have passion. Kasabian‘s unique style of electronic rock has contributed as much to the musical landscape in recent times as the Stone Roses did in the late 1980’s. | $24.99 (AUD) | Hearts & Arrows (+3 Bonus Tracks) $22.99 (AUD) The band’s lineup has changed, and with it, Danny’s direction – gone is the loose, shambolic, barnyard jam-band collective of previous albums, replaced by a smoking hot rock & roll unit with a massive E-Street Band fixation. The album is classic rock in every way, and is perhaps Mr. Wilson’s own ‘Born To Run’. | $24.99 (AUD) |
