Cocoon is a male-female duo of Mark Daumail and Morgane Imbeaud, self described (and perhaps with tongues-in-cheek) as a folk-pop version of The White Stripes. Their close harmonic, heartfelt and charming sound echoes the refrains of singer-songwriters Nick Drake and Elliot Smith, with a nod to the 'new folk' melodies of Sufjan Stevens and Devendra Banhart.
