Brand new album from Mudhoney guitarist Steve Turner & His Bad Ideas. New Wave Punk A-----e is more in your face than his previous solo offereings, theres still a country vibe a-lingering, but this is more a rootsian call to arms akin to classic mid 80s American underground rock. Maybe if Green on Red had recorded from SST? Theres also some classic Turner Fuzz amidst some of the slacker/skater pop gems here, echoing Nuggets/Pebbles adoration.
