After the runaway success of his soundtrack album for the 'About a Boy' movie, Damon Gough returns as Badly Drawn Boy with lush sun dripped tunes.Recorded at Stockport's Moulin Rouge Studio, a 15 minute cab ride from his house in Manchester, Badly Drawn Boy's new album is a simple and spacious record. In a move back to the style of his classic debut album, One Plus One Is One stands on the quality of the songs. As Damon himself puts it: "The last album was borne out of the frustrations of being away from home. For this record I was at home and now it seems I'm looking out at the world from there."
