With a style that combines the manipulative song writing smarts of DAFT PUNK with the elegant arrangements of THE POSTAL SERVICE, Belfast based electro pop duo OPPENHEIMER are set to restore the 3-minute pop song to its rightful throne. They share a love of kraut-rock, synthesizers & soundscapes. Writing summer-pop songs that take your minds to other places; i.e. the neon sparkle of Times Square, the blue skies of California. The band's Northern Irish roots are reinforced by the endorsement of DJ DAVID HOLMES, who loaned the band equipment for the recording, and by ASH's Tim Wheler who has also collaborated with the band, appearing on this album as guest vocalist on the track 'Orchid'.
