The debut album from The Getaway Plan featuring the singles "Streetlight" and "Where the City Meets the Sea". Produced by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Dashboard Confessional, New Found Glory, The Academy Is). Since the release of their "Hold Conversation" EP in April 2006, The Getaway Plan have made the type of noise only a band of significant talent and quality can make. The EP produced a Triple J high rotation hit single in "If The Suspense Doesn't Kill Us, Something Else Will" and remained in the Australian Independent Records Top 10 for six months.
The four piece from Melbourne's southern suburbs managed to tour successfully on the EP, with sold out headline shows of up to 700 capacity, and national tours with Taking Back Sunday, The Used and My Chemical Romance. In July 2007, the band flew to Florida to record with acclaimed US Producer James Paul Wisner, who has worked on a number of US Gold certified records, and is known for brilliance in bringing a bands melodies to the forefront of cutting edge and energetic music. The result is their debut album Other Voices, Other Rooms.
