Comprised of Jo Prendergast (vocals/guitar), Sean Bamberger (bass) and David Catmur (drums), Tubelord formed in the winter of 2006, through a mixture of boredom and bromance. Since then, their fizzing combination of breakneck pop, anvil-heavy riffs and super-infectious choruslike refrains have invited comparisons in the press with Biffy Clyro, At The Drive-In, but the truth is they mine a virgin sound. At the start of 2009, Tubelord entered the studio in London with rising producer Tristan Ivemy (The Holloways, The Mescalitas) for what would become their debut album.
