Melissa Auf der Maur (ex Hole/Smashing Pumpkins) is set to unveil the first chapter of what is to be a multimedia solo project (that includes a solo album, short film and comic book) with her new album Out of Our Minds. Dynamic, multilayered and darkly dreamy, Out of Our Minds is for fans of Fever Ray and Bat For Lashes et al, who will find MAdM a sumptuous delight. This is especially so on first single and title track Out Of Our Minds, the video for which is reminiscent of celluloid classics like The Wicker Man. Glenn Danzig even makes an appearance on the haunting ballad Father's Grave, so if you are looking for something sensual and inviting, come sit by MAdM's fire.
