ATLAS SOUND is the ever expansive solo project of BRADFORD COX, front man of indie success stories DEERHUNTER. With DEERHUNTER, Cox has recorded with Ben Allen (ANIMAL COLLECTIVE), performed at festivals worldwide - including THE FLAMING LIPS-curated All Tommorrow's Parties, and released some of the most critically acclaimed albums of the past decade. Parallax is Atlas Sound's third full length album. Produced by Cox and Nicolas Vernhes (DEERHUNTER, DIRTY PROJECTORS, ANIMAL COLLECTIVE), all songs on Parallax are written and performed by Cox, except on Mona Lisa which features guests Andrew Vanwyngarden (MGMT) and Paul Mcpherson (DEERHUNTER). The album is accompanies by visuals Mick Rock, who is best known for his work with DAVID BOWIE, BLONDIE, QUEEN, ROXY MUSIC and LOU REED.
