UK post-punk band The Fall formed in 1976 and have released 26 studio albums. They were also one of John Peel's favourite bands recording 24 sessions for Peels programme, the highest by any band. The Permanent Years (Paranoia Man in Cheap s--t Room) is an 18 track compilation of the early to mid 90's era on Permanent records. It takes tracks from the albums 'The Infotainment Ccan', 'Cerebral Caustic' and 'Middle Class Revolt' plus single cuts.
