Based in Hobart, Ivy St formed in 2008, releasing an independent hand-made EP titled "Flicker On". Picture Machine is an album that is heavily rooted in Hobart's isolated scene and musically is influenced by some of the prominent 90's Hobart post-punk bands like The Frustrations, Sea Scouts, and most recently The Bad Luck Charms. The last six months has seen Ivy St. play shows with bands like; My Disco, The Stabs, Fabulous Diamonds, Children Collide, The Grates, and many more.
