Without a doubt the world's most reticent superstar, Elliott Smith was reluctantly thrust into the limelight via his song 'Miss Misery' being prominently featured in the Gus Van Sant movie 'Good Will Hunting' and the Oscar nomination the track received. Smith, unquestionably the last real hero of the American underground scene, whose lives and loves his songs chronicled so eloquently, tragically took his own life in 2003 and left the world lamenting the loss of a truly original voice. This album is the first installment of the Smith saga and features the boy wonder in full 4-track glory.
