Third album for Sydney's Jack Ladder, following 2008's Australian Music Prize-nominated and Red Bull-awarded Love Is Gone. First album to feature Ladder's backing band The Dreamlanders: Laurenz Pike (PVT), Kirin J Callinan (ex-Mercy Arms) and Donny Benet.
This recording was made in Tepoztlan, Morelos, Mexico during the months of January and February 2008. In Tepoztlan, a place known for Aztec Magic and Extra-Terrestrial Sightings, a temporary studio was created in a mountain villa called Valle M stico at the outskirts of town.
