Harvey, Mick - Sketches From The Book Of The Dead Sketches From The Book Of The Dead is Harvey's first album since 2007s Two Of Diamonds. It's the first album to be written entirely by Harvey, and features 11 tracks recorded and mixed with David McCluney at Atlantis Sound, Port Melbourne, with additional recording at his own studio, Grace Lane. Harvey plays most of the instruments on the album, supplemented by guest musicians Rosie Westbrook (double bass), JP Shilo (accordion, violin) and Xanthe Waite (backing vocals).
