The smouldering and experimental pop duo Evil J & Saint Cecilia (self proclaimed "psychedelic folk" artists), have joined forces to create the luminous 'Strange Beasts'. Recorded by the girlsthemselves, straight to tape in Eliza-Jane's home studio, this analogue beast is brave. Surprisingly refreshing it sounds like nothing else out there. The legendary Rick Will (Grinspoon, Boy & Bear) lent them his ears for the mixing. And now it's ready for release, just as the girls hit the road touring the country in support of Eddie Vedder.
