The Strangers Dozen was produced by Jonathan Burnside and the members of Special Patrol and shows off the bands' strong song writing and arranging skills with a slightly more stripped down production style than usual. The album takes the listener on a very tasteful journey of subtle retro sounds and textures to allow for focus on the songwriting and vocal arrangement that Special Patrol have become reknown for.
