POP LEVI has been described as "a PRINCE-sized pixie channelling BOLAN and HENDRIX", with comparisons also to JOHN LENNON. "Sugar Assault Me Now"' opens up with rolling drums and hand claps before a filthy fuzzbass riff is joined by Blueberry Hill-rhythmed guitar, Pop Levi takes this as a jump off point for him to yelp, bark and falsettoise his plea for some seriously sticky skin-on-skin action. This release also featuring an extended version of the tune an the B side "Cyan Moan", where Levi delineates the links between bluegrass and psychedelic whimsy on this utterlybeautiful, wide-eyed nursery rhyme. Also featuring alternate versions of "Sugar Assault Me Now" and previous EP lead track, "Blue Honey" and "From The Day That You Were Born".
