Following two full length releases and four EPs, Tactics, Further's third long-player, is their defining statement. Full-of succinct, bomb-blast punk-rock anthems, Tactics is an exercise in good taste and restraint. Only putting the basest of elements into their music, Further have recorded a near-perfect rock record. No overdubs, no studio trickery and no waste (the longest song is still under 2.5 minutes long) its a big departure from their previous eight-minute epics.
