Hailing from Brisbane, this young pop/rock quartet has made a name for themselves in no time. Having already established Nova rotation in Brisbane for their single "Bombs", they have now quickly signed to successful independent label Boomtown Records, and picked up a deal with booking agent Destroy All Lines. Mixing the Australian pub rock vibe of You Am I and Jebediah with the synthy pop of Motion City Soundtrack and The Get Up Kids, A Year to Remember have the songwriting skills to make a name for themselves in no time at all. With a strong street level marketing campaign from Boomtown Records, and plans for major touring for the rest of 2008, this EP is sure to be the beginning of another great Australian success story in the vein of The Getaway Plan and Horsell Common.
