It opens with the line "I don't believe in an interventionist God", and unfolds into what could be considered Cave's most studied and thoughtful work. Recorded at London's Abbey Road, The Boatman's Call also features Dirty Three violinist Warren Ellis. Tracks include Into My Arms, Idiot Prayer and People Ain't No Good.
