The Drones gathered in a disused old factory space in Melbourne early last year on a sultry summer afternoon to record an intimate live session of rarely played songs from their career that spans over thirteen years and five studio albums. The result is 'A Thousand Mistakes'. For the session the band were joined by old friend and regular Hammond organ and keyboard player Steve Hesketh, who featured on The Drones LP's 'Wait Long By The River And The Bodies Of Your Enemies Will Float By' and 'The Miller's Daughter'. The DVD features over four and half hours of footage, including a full live show from East Brunswick Club, and a bonus disc featuring rare live footage filmed 2005-2010, in Germany, France and Australia. Directed and edited by Natalie van den Dungen (of Tote doco fame), and recorded in 5.1 surround sound.

$24.99 (AUD) Said to have been recorded entirely via the fair hands of Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin themselves, the follow-up to 2007's Pocket Symphony was penned exclusively at the duo's "ultra modern" Atlas Studio. The pair have eschewed guests vocalists on the record, opting instead to hog the mic, with LA-based drummer Joey Waronker taking stick duties for all twelve of the LP's tracks. | $26.99 (AUD) | For The Term Of Their Unnatural Lives $29.99 (AUD) | $17.99 (AUD) |
