M Ward's "Transfiguration Of Vincent" is nothing less than spectacular. It includes many of his standards today. They are Sad Sad Song, Outta My Head, Helicopter and his classic Bowie cover 'Let's Dance". To this day it remains his most popular album. In Australia his popularity grew and grew with this release. He toured three times with this release, once on his own, once with Beth Orton and finally for a few shows including the prestigious Meredith Music Festival. This album was released in the UK by Matador and in the States by Merge and made many best of lists at the end of 2003. It is another one of Spunk's biggest back catalog seller and will continue to be so. M Ward worked on two recent highly popular records for Jenny Lewis and Beth Orton and co-wrote the song "Comfort Of Strangers".
