After first jamming in March this year and playing a friends warehouse party, Jordan Malane and Alex Wall, the two friends who make up the Gold Coast based surf/punk band Bleeding Knees Club have seemingly found themselves to be stumbling from one success to another and somewhat unknowingly have reached accomplishments which some of their peers have struggled to stretch to for years past. Now they're gearing up for the release of the first single named 'Bad Guys' from their debut EP (through I OH YOU/SHOCK), titled 'Virginity' which was tastefully named for the sole reason that their manager lost his the night before recording began.Since causing an undeniable ruckus at the warehouse party the duo then decided to record a demo track called 'Have Fun' in a friend's studio which was tucked away in the back of a sneaker store, not thinking much about it at the time Bleeding Knees Club then uploaded the track to their Unearthed page and once again received a greater than expected response with the track being picked up for high rotation on both 4ZZZ and FBi Radio while also being spun on Triple J. Bleeding Knees Club will also be joining the Yacht Club DJs in October for what will no doubt be a monster national tour, as well as the pleasant surprise that the two-pals will also be featuring in Zan Rowe's 'Fresh Meat' section in the current edition of Triple J Magazine. Having just wrapped things up in the studio with producer and good friend Dr Duck, Bleeding Knees Club are now gearing for their biggest leap yet into the Australian music scene with the release of 'Virginity' and single 'Bad Guys' into stores and the hearts and stereos of music lovers everywhere!
