The Walls Have Ears' was crafted in the band's rehearsal room (which they have lived in for four years ) undoubtedly the place where the group felt most comfortable. The space meant that the secluded environment meant that the raw and ferocious energy of Rotating Leslie's live performance was perfectly captured on the album. Referencing a range of idols from The Strokes and The Hives to Santigold and Beastie Boys, Rotating Leslie have formed a brand of indie-pop that mixes striking chords, empowering chorus lines and delicate guitar melodies to create a sound that is distinctly their own.
