'When the Going Gets Dark' was tracked in a local Portland studio called Audible Alchemy and was produced by DAVE FRIDMANN, the genius who produced The Woods for SLEATERKINNEY (and FLAMING LIPS and MERCURY REV). Janet Weiss drums for Sleater-Kinney. Vocalist Sam Coomes originally played in the band Heatmiser with Elliott Smith.
