The Go-Betweens were an internationally influential indie rock band from Australia, formed by guitarists Robert Forster and Grant McLennan in Brisbane in 1977. They will be remembered for their amazing pop songs including 'Streets Of Your Town', 'Bachelor Kisses' and 'Lee Remick'.
In May 2006, Grant McLennan passed away. In November 2006, friends and family gathered in Brisbane to celebrate his musical legacy with a tribute, a concert which would spark an album project bringing together Australia's finest musicians, the product being Write Your Adventures Down. (Liner notes written by Richard Kingsmill & friends).
Write Your Adventures Down is a collaboration between: Patience from The Grates, Sarah Blasko, Dan Kelly, Josh Pyke, Toby and Cameron from Youth Group, Glenn Richards from Augie March, Bob Evans, Darren Hanlon, Glenn Thompson, Dave McCormack, Andrew Cox from The Fauves, New Buffalo and Adele Pickvance.
