German act VON SPARR are inspired by 70's Krautrock, Fluxus art, Minimal Music, early Trip Hop and black metal. Their second album, which is made up of two 20-minutes tracks, combines the spirit of exploration of CAN and KRAFTWERK with the conceptual aesthetics of LIGETI (modernistcomposer who's work was used in the film '2001: A Space Odyssey') and STEVE REICH and the techniques of dark, psychedelic multi-layering as used by NEUROSIS or GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR.
