Y's, the second album from Joanna Newsom, is one of the most anticipated indie albums of 2007. The follow up to 2004's 'The Milk-eyed Mender', the album was recorded by Steve Albini, mixed by Jim O'Rourke and arranged by Van Dyke Parks - what an incredible production lineup! On Y's Joanna's songs are longer and more diverse, but are as equally as compelling as anything she has previously written. Joanna Newsom is the leading lady of the new folk movement and this record is likely to sky-rocket her fame even further.
