A true statement of intent and cinematic confidence is a rare thing, but it can be found in dusty rock-noir band The Gilded Palace of Sin, and their debut album 'You Break Our Hearts, We'll Tear Yours Out'. Think of the kind of house band that would play on HBO's Deadwood, The Fall, and John Ford's The Searchers to create the kind of Gothic desert mutiny that populates the Gilded Palace. Their label, Central Control, is helmed by Magazine bassist and ex-Nick Cave Bad Seed-er, Barry Adamson, who helped produce and mix the album... as well as signing the band!
