British composer Eugene Goossens was Chief Conductor of Sydney Symphony and one of the most important figures in Australian musical life during the 1950s. Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is regarded as a Goossens specialist. Includes world premiere recording of Phantasy Concerto, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe
