To mark its 25th Anniversary year, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh presented "The Phantom of the Opera" in a fully-staged, lavish production, set in the sumptuous Victorian splendour of the Royal Albert Hall with a cast and orchestra of over 200 in early October this year. The event is now released on CD as a must-have anniversary release for fans everywhere. "The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall" stars Ramin Karimloo as 'The Phantom' and Sierra Boggess as 'Christine'. They are joined by Barry James as 'Monsieur Firmin', Gareth Snook as 'Monsieur Andr ', Liz Robertson as 'Madame Giry' and Wynne Evans as 'Piangi', together with a cast and orchestra of over 200. The evening also brought about a series of reunions, most notably from members of the original production, including Michael Crawford and Andrew Lloyd Webber's former wife Sarah Brightman. Joined by current and previous phantom actors, Sarah Brightman also gave a rendition of the song "Phantom of the Opera" towards the end of the showcase. "That does bring back a whole you know flood of emotions, it's great to have her back again, but we have worked together before but seeing Michael and Sarah back on stage... I never thought they would actually go back on stage", Andrew Lloyd Webber said. Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom Of The Opera is a worldwide entertainment phenomenon. It has been staged in 145 cities across 27 countries and has been seen by over 130 million people, its box office sales eclipse Avatar, Titanic and Star Wars and the original cast recording album remains one of the biggest selling music titles of all time.Throughout its course the musical has broken records with more than 9,000 performances in London alone, and it is also the longest running in Broadway history with performances before more than 100 million people since it opened in 1986.
