This 1958 recording is regarded by experts (!) as the "best worst album ever". Meaning this album is terrible but utterly hilarious. Imagine Monty Python's slightly demented old aunt had made a record and had forgotten her meds. Anderson was originally a vaudeville comedienne and appeared in silent films with Stan Laurel, then became successful on British Radio and TV with this schtick. She was a born entertainer and this is a lost comedy album gem.
