Nashville’s kings of honky tonk return!
With production help from John Keane (R.E.M, Indigo Girls, Nancy Griffith, Uncle Tupelo, Widespread Panic, Cowboy Junkies) on Dog Days, BR549 have created a sound reminiscent of the band’s much ballyhooed live show and reeks of their late nights at Robert’s on Lower Broad in Nashville. BR549 maintain a very strong and loyal following among both country and alternative fans, thanks in part to their eclectic repertoire and punkish left of center attitude and to their exhausting and extensive tour schedule.
BR549 were undoubtedly the most critically acclaimed country band of the late 90’s including three GRAMMY nominations and this media attention continues on into 2006.
BR549 have toured continuously for the past nine years with acts as diverse as Bob Dylan, the Black Crowes, Toby Keith, The Mavericks and the Brian Setzer Orchestra.
